ProTools: Record Arm from the keyboard

A quick video to show you some useful track mode keyboard shortcuts in protools. These work in ProTools 8.0 and above, I have not tried them in 7.

Record arm a track (your cursor must be placed on that track): Press Shift + R
Place track into input mode: Shift + I
Place track into mute: Shift + M
Place track into solo: Shift + S

hi Nick,
i’ve got a question regarding audio suite delay, every time i process a region it creates silence inside the region at the beginning, would you know how to fix that? I use the digidesign delay in Pro Tools 8 LE,
Thanks,
Luiz

Oh! THAT’s why I don’t have input mode on my PT8…no HD at the home studio. I’m not pro-tools smart.

Thanks Nick. I learned something here today.
